The man with fire hair stands at the edge of the table looks to Emily, then Heather “I know you two you will have the blazing furry Emily with a side of hash and raspberry juice, Heather you will have the deer steak with sausage and fresh bread. (Looks at Castel and Pish) Whoever you two are not usually so what are you having?” the man asks “well, I will have whatever your special is, and she (looks at phish) will have any fish dish you have, and we would both like cow milk,” he says the man nods.

   “Very well, so is this all on one bill?” He asks, “it’s on me, Ferris,” Heather says, waving him away “well, I will be back with your drinks shortly, and I will put in your orders,” he says, then leaves he goes behind a wall for a bit. “So what are you going to do, pact maker,” Emily asked with a tone that said she wanted to know, “well, I do not know after learning that most of what I’m looking for is in a city I’m going to head there after I relax there for a while and talk to some more people I will decide what to do next, “ he said with hollow tone “are you going to make more pacts with demon kin?” Emily asks, and Ferris returns with their drinks “your meals will be ready in a while, “he says, leaving them, “I will, but I’m unsure if I will ever challenge the demon lord,” he says plainly.

   “Then why make pacts with more demon kin then?” Emily ask with a mild tone “well, I do not know what I will do with my life.” she nods “well, there is a myth that when a pack maker bring eternal Peace to the world, they will be granted three wishes, now this is just a rumor, I know you don’t have any memories perhaps if— “

   “I’ll be granted three wishes; I know I would wish to remember everything about my past. I’m not sure if I even want three wishes. It is also not guaranteed that I would get three wishes,” Castel said “then what are you going to do with your life then? “Emily asked. He thinks, “well, I could always be a teacher and teach people how to survive in the wild,” he says she laughs, “all one has to do to survive in the wild is pact with a demon kin, so your services won’t be in high demand,” Emily says mildly.

   “well, I could always be just a plain teacher, or just live off the wild and come to town when I feel the need for company, “ he says “that’s such a waste you should head out on a quest to bring the calm to our world at least, “ Emily said “I’m not the only pact master am I (Emily shakes her head) then just let someone else do that. I can just enjoy my life,” he says Emily shakes her head.

   “Well, I am coming with you. I’m not leaving you alone with Heather “don’t get in the way of me, my pact mate,” Heather says, “I would not dream of it, Heather, but I’m not letting him have you alone; I want to be by your side Heather “ Fine, but when I mate with Castel you better be fine with it” Heather says firmly Emily frowns but nods “I promise I won’t interfere with that ether I just want to be with you” she says earnestly “let her come along with us, it will be good to have another human along with us” Castel says with the hope that the others would agree with him “I take it you’re bringing Heath fire starter with you know he dislikes humans” Heather says.

   “Yeah, but he’s my pack demon kin,” Emily says, sounding annoyed. “So, where is he?” Castel asks, “oh, he is close to the town. He stays outside the town. The further he is away from humans, the better he feels, and warn you he does not like to talk much, so when I call him through the pact, he may refuse to talk to us till he has to. Though he may direct his conversation to your pact demon kin,” Emily says with a tone that says she did not like him either “then why is he your pact demon” he asks, “well, once a pact is formed, it almost impossible to break one. Though we’re not sure how one forms a pact, demon kin can choose you to form a pact, you can choose to form a pact with demon kin, or when you meet the right demon kin, the pact can form without either one of you doing it. Even I don’t understand why I formed a pack with heath.” Emily says, annoyed still

“Yeah, I know once you form a pact, you can’t seem to get to fare from each other with other feeling the effects,” Castel said; the effects of being too far from your pact demon include depression, sickness, and insomnia. Those effects got worse the further you were from your pact demon. The only thing about it was that it worked both ways. “So, what is your job anyway, Emily” Castel asks. “I’m a demon kin specialist; I pretty much know all there is to know about demon kin; I have studied them since I could read.” She speaks 

   “so you know how to treat injuries of demon kin,” he says she nods “it’s rare for a demon kin to get an injury it’s like there something stopping it, but it is still possible to knock one out,” Emily said, “I thought you would know this “ he nods “oh I know that I was just letting you talk being polite” she nods “no need to do that if you know something I know then feel free to speak up even if I’m talking,” Emily says to him “so heather are you sure you should leave this town, they seem like they could use all the guards they can “well The others can handle guarding this own plus it’s too late now to turn back we are already connected, “ heather says firmly as if there was no doubt about it “what about your family,” he says she shrugs.

 “I haven’t needed my family sense I learned my name, they know I won’t come back any time soon,” Heather says “that is a sad thing I, for one, would love to have a family I can visit anytime I want,” Castel says sadly “if you want to meet my family I would be more then glad to take you to them,” Heather says with no trouble like she could care less if she ever saw her family again. The witch was the typical attitude of demon kin “sure; I would love to meet your parents … it is too bad you don’t know where your parents are, Pish, I would love to meet them. “Castel said he knew he was doubtful he would ever get to meet Pish’s parents. So, he was happy that he could meet Heather’s parents.

“After we eat, I will take you to them,” she says with a mild tone “what about your parents, Emily? Could I get to meet them “well, my real parents were killed on accident when the last time the demon lord raged “demon kin did it didn’t they,” he asks she nod this was rare. “My information does not include that much about the past. Is that sort of thing common?” He asks Emily shakes her head “it is rare, though in the dark times it was less rare: but still not considered uncommon though” Emily says sadly, “I was raised by the demon kin that killed my parents though, once the demon lord was calmed, they each formed a pact with humans so they would not rage again.” Emily said sadly, “and before you ask to meet them, they left with their pact makers once I was old enough to care for myself,” she added.

“I’m sorry if this conversation hurts, “Castel says, patting her hand. “I don’t need your pity,” Emily said, hitting his hand away “always so strong, Emily, that’s why you and I are friends,” heather said proudly “yeah, you never treated me any different than anyone else. That is one of the reasons I love you,” Emily says sadly “look, Heather, do you not want to be heathers lover, “he asks “it is not that I don’t like Emily that way. It is I want to dedicate myself to only you,” Heather says absently like she was open to other possibilities “look, Heather, since I won’t be able to declare myself to only you. There is no need for you to do the same for me, so take Emily as a secondary mate.

“Are you sure, mate?” Heather says, “take the other human as a mate too. More time with each other,” Pish says, and her emotions perk up. The emotions that come from Heather are unsure. It was straightforward to tell the difference between each emotion, one had a watery feel to it, and the other had an earthy feel. If he ran across another earth type that wanted to form a pact, he would turn them down. Heather looks unsure of herself. Emily looks like she is on the edge of her seat with anticipation. “There is wisdom with what you say. I will have to think about it a great deal. This seems like a human problem, and us demon kin have trouble with the” Heather says

Then respectively, there the city fire, the city of wind, the city of earth, and water, there the city of sails on the coast, the city of Casamas in a case. Then there is the city of crystals to take on the demon lord you must win in the Colosseum Of each type, so you have to get seven blessings “the city of sails counts as either wind or water, the casa mas city counts as earth or fire, and lastly the city of crystals counts as Light / Darkness/fire or water” she says “so once I have seven blessings how do I find this demon lord?” he asked with a casual tone.
